TARGETX STUDY
Patient Referral Guide
Who qualifies | How to refer | What happens next
WHO QUALIFIES
U.S. military service members and veterans
Any branch, any role.
Stage IIIB–IV preferred
Earlier stage cancers considered at investigator discretion.
Accessible medical records
SOTERIA consolidates records — minimal burden on your team.
Active cancer diagnosis
Primarily solid tumors. Brain and blood cancers evaluated individually.
ℹ Patient doesn't fit perfectly? Refer anyway — SOTERIA reviews each case individually and non-study navigation support is available for those who don't qualify for TargeTx.
HOW TO REFER — TWO PATHS
Refer a patient directly
Share the SOTERIA’s Cancer Hunt information with the patient and direct them to self schedule an initial consultation with our team.
1
Identify an eligible patient | Partner
Review the eligibility quick-reference. Any U.S. military member with an active cancer diagnosis may qualify. When in doubt, refer — SOTERIA will assess eligibility.
2
Introduce SOTERIA to your patient | Partner
Share the patient-facing brochure or summarize the program. Key message: no cost, no disruption to their care, dedicated nurse navigator assigned from day one.
3
Submit the clinician referral form | Partner
Complete the formwith patient information and consent confirmation. Alternatively, direct the patient to self-schedule here.
4
SOTERIA intake & eligibility review | SOTERIA
SOTERIA contacts the patient, completes onboarding, collects and consolidates medical records, and prepares a case summary. No action required from your team.
5
Consent & enrollment | SOTERIA + Patient
Eligibility is confirmed and consent obtained. If the patient does not qualify for TargeTx, non-study navigation support and cost-coverage alternatives are explored.
6
Sequencing & molecular analysis | SOTERIA
Tissue is coordinated from prior or upcoming standard-of-care procedures. WES, WTS, WGS-RUO, and germline panel are performed through CLIA-certified labs and TGen.
7
Molecular Tumor Board review | SOTERIA + TGen/CoH
Select cases are reviewed by a multidisciplinary expert team. Your team is invited to participate — never required.
9
Longitudinal follow-up | SOTERIA
Ongoing navigation, outcomes tracking, and exposure-related oncology research.
What you never have to do:
Coordinate sequencing logistics, manage tissue requests, consolidate records, navigate insurance, or follow up on results delivery. SOTERIA owns all of this. Your role is to identify the patient and make the introduction.
SOTERIA does

✔ Research clinical trial options
✔ Return findings to your team
Tumor tissue available
