Julia Civardi

Julia Civardi is a 2-time cancer survivor, an established life science professional, and a nationally recognized patient advocate who has dedicated her life's work to helping patients and families. Throughout her career in healthcare and genomics, Julia has worked with the world’s most elite medical faculty, biotechnology experts, and clinical researchers to advance patient care.

 

amanda Skeen

Co-Founder & COO

Amanda Skeen is an established genomics professional with expertise in oncology therapeutics. After losing her 39-year-old husband to colon cancer less than a year after their wedding, Amanda became personally and professionally committed to helping patients identify treatment options by bridging the gap between scientific advancements and clinical practice.

 

Karen Hynes

Karen has more than 20 years experience in building brands for consumer, business-to-business, medical device and academic health systems. She is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Beta Bionics, creators of the iLet Bionic Pancreas. Prior to that, Karen held senior roles at Companion Medical (Medtronic), Senseonics, Dexcom and UC San Diego Health. Earlier in her career, Karen spent more than a decade at several international advertising and digital agencies managing various clients including Princess Cruises, Memorex, Lockheed Martin, CIGNA HealthCare and Canon. Karen earned her MBA at San Diego State University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

 

Justin Bingham

Justin is responsible for the commercialization of Nabsys’ OhmX platform and the democratization of structural variant analysis. He was previously part of the CENTOGENE GmbH Executive Leadership Team as the Senior Vice President of Business Development where he managed the company’s commercial business. Prior to CENTOGENE, Justin was the Head of Business Development at Synthetic Genomics, Inc. a synthetic biology company responsible for the launch and commercialization of the first bench top DNA assembly system. Justin has held scientific roles at both the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF) and the Exploratory Technologies Department at Pfizer, Inc. Justin received a B.A. in molecular, cellular, developmental biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an M.B.A. from the Rady School of Business at the University of California, San Diego. Outside of work, Justin is an avid sailor with dreams of spending more time on the high seas.

 
 

Dan Cruzen

Dan Cruzen is the Senior Vice President for the California Region at Huntington Technology Finance providing clients various lease structures for IT, medical, and capital equipment. For 27 years Dan has been a top performer, as both a manager and sales representative, and has been consistently one of the leading producers in the company.
